Description
Vessel 1 of the four Floating LNG vessels constituting the Delfin LNG project.
Delfin LNG is a brownfield Deepwater Port that supports up to four FLNG Vessels producing up to 13.3 million tonnes of LNG per annum.
As of March 2023, FLNG 1 was on track to achieve FID in Q2 2023. As of June 2024, FID hadn’t been achieved yet and Delfin was targeting FID by the end of 2024.
Each FLNG can achieve FID independently: FLNG 2, FLNG 3, and FLNG 4.
Delfin purchased the UTOS pipeline in 2014 and submitted its Deepwater Port license application in 2015.
In September 2022, Devon Energy agreed to a strategic pre-FID investment in Delfin that included up to 2 mpta of liquefaction capacity on a long-term basis and opportunity for additional future equity investments in Delfin.
