Description

The project involves construction of a 500 MW green hydrogen production facility in Hardin and Jefferson Counties, in Texas.

Monarch has signed an MoU with Entergy Texas to leverage existing transmission infrastructure and/or construct new generation resources to supply long-term renewable power to the project.

The project represents a potential $500m investment in the Beaumont region. Monarch began development of the facility in 2021 and expects to commence commercial operations in 2026.
