Description
The project is anticipated to capture over 1.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide per year from the existing Quail Run Energy Center in Ector County. The carbon capture facility will be located on land owned by the Quail Run Energy Center with all improvements located in Ector County ISD. The project is to separate and capture the CO2 emissions from the existing power plant, and then compress and dehydrate the CO2 so that it can be pipelined off-site.
