Description
The project intends to capture carbon dioxide from the fermentation process of biorefineries such as ethanol plants, compress the captured CO2, and channel it to North Dakota where it will be stored underground in deep geologic storage locations.
The project includes an approximately 2,000-mile pipeline network.
Summit Carbon Solutions has a partnership with 34 ethanol and sustainable aviation fuels plants across Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
Strategic investors include Summit Agricultural Group, TPG Rise Climate, Tiger Infrastructure Partners, SK, and John Deere.
