Description

Azure Sustainable Fuels Corp. is developing three potential SAF production sites in Canada in collaboration with the Canada Infrastructure Bank.

The CIB’s CAD $8.4m funding helps support Azure’s path of producing SAF by 2027.

CIB and Azure are partnering on a FEED study for SAF production in Canada, which should be completed in 2024, and the CIB is contributing CAD $8.4m in funding to support the development of Azure’s SAF production capabilities.

Azure said it is pursuing a multi-site strategy through developing the three Canadian SAF-focused renewable fuels production facility sites in parallel. These potential sites are located in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. The Company expects that all FEED work for each of the three sites will be complete by the end of 2024, positioning Azure to reach a Final Investment Decision in the first half of 2025 and to enable an in-service date in 2027.
