Description
In June 2023, Clean Vision Corporation announced its wholly owned subsidiary Clean-Seas signed a a joint venture agreement with Arizona State University’s Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service for the design, development and operation of a plastic waste to clean hydrogen innovation and conversion facility in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Clean-Seas Arizona is to source waste plastic feedstock from the Phoenix metro area, and adjacent municipalities, and work towards making it an anchor for a network of clean hydrogen hubs.
The project is intended to co-generate new recycled-content plastic and Clean-Seas’ branded clean Hydrogen, AquaHâ„¢.
Clean-Seas Arizona intends to invest at least $50 million in the project, which it anticipates will divert more than 850,000 tons of plastic waste over its 25-year life span.
