Black & Veatch appoints president of Fuels and Natural Resources

The global EPC firm has appointed Narsingh Chaudhary to oversee the recently created division.

Narsingh Chaudhary has been appointed president of the Black & Veatch’s Fuels & Natural Resources (FNR) sector, effective immediately, according to a news release.

Chaudhary has been with Black & Veatch since 2019 and is currently the president of the Asia Pacific and India (APAC) region, a role he will continue to hold until a successor is identified. Chaudhary has served for more than 30 years as a global veteran in the energy and infrastructure market, successfully leading the execution of large-scale infrastructure projects that include hydrogen, gas-fired power generation, renewables, floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) processing facilities, manufacturing and mining.

Black & Veatch recently created the FNR sector as part of its NextGen strategy to best apply its broad range of engineering solutions to the specific needs of clients focused on converting critical resources into essential minerals, fuels and feedstocks.

“Narsingh is a seasoned global leader with deep domain expertise in the energy and infrastructure market with both conventional energy applications and has overseen many of our first-of-a-kind lower carbon emissions projects taking place across Asia Pacific,” Black & Veatch Chairman and CEO Mario Azar said. “We have a world-class engineering, operations and solutions capacity with a proven track record of delivering complex projects at scale, and we’re excited to have this fast growth sector in the very capable hands of Narsingh.”
