Mozart Devco | New Mexico Waste-To-Hydrogen Project

Carbon Storage Solutions | Front Range Energy CCS

Carbon Storage Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Front Range Energy, filed for a Class VI well permit from the EPA in May 2024. The company aims to capture the CO2 derived from the From Range Energy’s ethanol fermentation process and sequester it near its facility in Windsor, Colorado.

Big Hill | Texas Salt Dome Hydrogen Project

Big Hill Materials has an hydrogen production site with a salt dome planned in Bay City, Texas. As of June 2024, the project is not yet finalized. Hygreen Energy, the Chinese alkaline and PEM electrolyzer manufacturer, is in negotiations with Big Hill Materials to supply electrolyzers to the project.  

Hanwha | INEOS | Low-carbon Ammonia Facility

Hanwha Corporation and INEOS Nitriles announced in June 2024 their intention to collaborate in a study for a low-carbon ammonia facility with carbon sequestration in the US, with a capacity of more than 1 mmtpa. The final investment decision is planned for 2026 with planned commercial operation in 2030.
