JERA Americas adds VP of government and regulatory affairs

The Houston subsidiary of Japan's JERA Co. has hired Randolph Bell, who was previously an associate partner at Dentons Global Advisors.

JERA Americas Inc., a Houston-based subsidiary of global energy leader JERA Co., is pleased to announce Randolph Bell has joined the Company as the Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs.

Bell will lead government engagement teams for JERA Americas at the local, state, and federal level with a focus on energy markets crucial to the Company’s business. In this role, he will direct and coordinate efforts to advance policy that will enable JERA Americas’ sustainability goals and further the vision of providing cutting-edge solutions for the world’s energy issues.

Bell comes to JERA Americas with a deep expertise in global energy security and a background spanning government affairs, international relations, and strategic leadership. Bell most recently served as Associate Partner at Dentons Global Advisors, where he led client engagement on US and international policy, strategy and advocacy. He also led international government affairs for Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
