Description
A DAC plant designed to remove initially up to 1 million metric tons of CO2/year on the King Ranch in Kleberg County, South Texas. The plant would ideally end up capturing 30 million metric tonnes of CO2 every year through DAC.
1PointFive has partnered with King Ranch to gain access to 106,000 subsurface acres with surface access. The land can support a sequestration hub with a storage capacity of 3 billion metric tonnes.
