Description
Advanced Ionics has a pilot project to test its new water-vapor electrolyzer technology to produce low-cost green hydrogen.
Advanced Ionics is a developer of green hydrogen electrolyzers. The pilot project is sponsored by Shell International Exploration and Production Inc., through its Shell GameChanger program.
The project supports the scaling of Advanced Ionics’ second-generation, 800 cm2 stack. Shell intends to test the system at its targeted parameters to demonstrate the suitability and applicability for its green hydrogen needs, and potentially for ammonia production.
