Description

Alaska Gasline Development Corporation’s carbon capture plant, located in Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope. The plant is designed to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide before natural gas enters the pipeline.

The project is part of the Alaska LNG project, which has an estimated total cost of $44bn, and it includes the carbon capture plant, a pipeline, and an LNG facility.
