Description
Denbury Carbon Solutions proposes to construct the Snowy River CO2 Sequestration Project, in Carter County, Montana.
The project, which would be constructed and operated by Denbury, includes the use of approximately 100,200 acres of Bureau of Land Management pore space to sequester CO2 underground. It had 15 proposed well pads, which would be used to operate Underground Injection Control Class VI injection wells that would inject CO2 from the existing Denbury Cedar Creek Anticline Pipeline, a 105-mile pipeline transporting CO2 from the Bell Creek Oilfield in Powder River County, Montana, to the CCA Enhanced Oil Recovery unit development in Fallon County, Montana.
