Description

DG Fuels second SAF facility on the former Loring Air Force Base located near Limestone and Caribou, Maine.

DG Fuels estimates the project will break ground in the summer of 2024. Commercial operations are expected in 2027.

The location gives DG Fuels access to hydroelectric power, regional timber, and agricultural waste. The produced SAF will be transported via pipeline.

The facility’s initial expected output is approximately 175 million gallons per year.
