Description
EmberClear is currently developing a 1,085 MW natural gas-fired, combined-cycle power plant (“NGCC”) project to be constructed approximately 50 miles west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the Village of Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio. EmberClear is working with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems of America (“MHPSA”) to complete the late-stage
development and financing activities.
The project is expecting to commence construction in Q1/Q2 2021, putting the Project on track to reach its commercial operations date in Q1 2024.
The project also has an eye on its hydrogen future with hydrogen production facility and storage in its future design plans. There are several geological formations within 5-10 miles of our site to store
hydrogen. Working with Mitsubishi Power to support power production from hydrogen.
