Description

A CCUS at Koch Nitrogen’s Enid Fertilizer plant, in Oklahoma.

The plant has been capturing CO2 and using it in Koch’s oil fields for EOR since 2003, when Koch purchased the plant, which has been operational since 1982.

It captures approximately 0.68 Mt/yr of CO2, which is then transported by Chaparral Energy through a 120-mile onshore pipeline to Northeast Purdy and the Brady Unit of the composite Golden Trend Field, as well as the Sko-Vel-Tum Field, both south of Oklahoma City.
