The facility, with a canola processing plant, will be known as the Integrated Agriculture Complex. The two facilities are projected to be a CAD 2bn investment.

The renewable diesel plant will have a production capacity of about 15,000 barrels per day, which adds up to about one billion liters per year.

The carbon capture technology is Fluor’s Econamine FG PlusSM.
