Description

Magnolia LNG is an LNG export project located on the Industrial Canal near Lake Charles in Southwest Louisiana.

The 115-acre project site is permitted to produce 8.8 mpta.

Magnolia LNG plans to have the ability to pre-treat, liquefy, and store LNG onsite for domestic use and export. The project features four LNG production trains of 2.2 mtpa each. The site is crossed by the Kinder Morgan Louisiana Gas Pipeline which has interconnections to Columbia Gulf, Transco, TETCO, Texas Gas, ANR and Pine Prairie pipelines.

The project was acquired from LNG Limited for $2.25 million, by Glenfarne Group in 2020.
