Description

A blue ammonia and hydrogen plant to be constructed in Northern California. Called the Grannus Blue Ammonia and Hydrogen Project, the project aims to be California’s first blue ammonia and hydrogen facility producing 150,000 MT per annum of blue ammonia and 10,000 MT per annum of blue hydrogen.

California Resources subsidiary Carbon Terravault signed another carbon dioxide management agreement, this time with Grannus. Under the agreement, CalRes will sequester 370,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide per annum from a new plant and store them in CTV III.

The companies have already entered into a land-lease agreement to secure 320 acres in Kern County, California for the project’s development.

Fusion Fuel has engaged Black & Veatch to perform a concept study and is also working with Cornerstone Engineering and Headwaters Solutions.
