Description

A proposed hydrogen hub serving the states of Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.

The project goal for the proposed hub is to utilize combined natural resources and innovative optimization tools to establish a renewable clean hydrogen hub in support of the Department of Energy’s strategy for achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The hub-wide goal aligns with key objectives of the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs Funding Opportunity, including ‘Clean Hydrogen Production’, ‘Connective Infrastructure Storage’, and ‘Clean Hydrogen Consumers’.

The MCH2 enables a clean hydrogen ecosystem that has supply and demand across the tri-state region.
