Description

The Open Access Wabamun Carbon Hub is a carbon storage facility that will transport carbon from nearby emitters and transport it to 3,000 meter deep storage wells. Nearby emitters include Heidelberg Cement’s Edmonton CCUS plant and a nearby Capital Power Corporation’s project.

First Nation Capital Investment Partnership has partnered with Enbridge on the project.

The project was submitted as part of the requests for proposals for Alberta Carbon Sequestration Hubs.
