Description
As majority owner in Escalante H2 Power, Tallgrass is developing a hydrogen-to-power project by converting a retired coal-fired power plant to a clean hydrogen-fired power generation facility.
Tallgrass is working alongside other industry leaders as part of a multi-member conglomerate to develop a hydrogen demonstration project that will supply a natural gas-fired power generation facility with green and/or blue hydrogen. In recognition of the project’s potential, the Wyoming Energy Authority (WEA) awarded the team a grant that is helping fund their efforts.
