Description

A hydrogen hub, comprising local hydrogen farms, in Arizona that would use a new method being developed by Cleyx. The method would combine the most sustainable way of sourcing water with the most energy-dense and carbon-neutral source of energy on the planet to generate green hydrogen.

With the project, Cleyx hopes to lower the cost of green hydrogen from an average of $6/kg to $1/kg.

Cleyx pitched the project to the U.S. Department of Energy. DOE discouraged the project.
