Description

Wellington Microtech is developing a 3,000-barrel-per-day/41.2 million gallons/year biofuel refinery located in Wellington, Utah.

The refinery will produce renewable diesel, renewable naphtha, and sustainable aviation fuel.

Wellington Microtech will utilize a patented four-step technology capable of processing twenty-three different feedstocks (oils, fats, and greases).

The fuels produced will be drop-in ready. The fuel will require no blending with petroleum and is compatible with both diesel and turbine engines.

The refinery is located on 46 acres, with rail, highway, and utility access. The site will be equipped with six ladder tracks, capable of holding 74 cars. The Castle Valley Industrial Lead adjoins the Union Pacific railroad and is served by Union Pacific, BNSF, and Utah Railways.
