A potential commercial-scale carbon capture system integrated into CEMEX’s Balcones Cement Plant’s manufacturing process. The system could capture up to 670,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. The feasibility study is utilizing CEMEX’s partner RTI’s non-aqueous amine technology. The plant is located in New Braunfels, Texas.
