Caliche | Golden Triangle Storage Carbon Sequestration

Caliche Development Partners has a carbon sequestration development project in Beaumont, Texas. The project is among the ones in which global investment firm Sixth Street invested in August 2024. The investment is expected to close in late 2024.

ConocoPhillips applied in August 2024 for its first Class VI carbon sequestration well from the EPA for a project in Texas. Tenaska | Indiana CCS Hub

Tenaska is advancing a sequestration hub in Indiana. Tenaska’s base facility has 5 million metric tons per year of storage capacity, plus the necessary pipeline infrastructure to bring the emissions in. The base facility design costs approximately $500m to build, with variations depending on the land position, site geology, and required pipeline miles.
