Big Hill Materials has an hydrogen production site with a salt dome planned in Bay City, Texas. As of June 2024, the project is not yet finalized. Hygreen Energy, the Chinese alkaline and PEM electrolyzer manufacturer, is in negotiations with Big Hill Materials to supply electrolyzers to the project.
