Klean is planning the development of a modular and scalable 40’ containerized pilot project with the integration of an AEM MultiCore 1 MW electrolytic production unit designed by H2 Core for Klean’s flagship facility in Boardman, Oregon. This site is the perfect location for creating green hydrogen onsite from cost-effective, clean, reliable, and environmentally friendly… Continue reading Klean Industries Boardman tire facility
JERA and ConocoPhillips were developing a manufacturing base in the US Gulf Coast that would have produced hydrogen on a large scale and converted it into ammonia. Plans for the plant were canceled in September 2024 following a pre-FEED study. “Our view is that the nascent lower-carbon hydrogen/ammonia market has not developed at the pace… Continue reading JERA | ConocoPhillips | Gulf Coast Ammonia Plant
The project would be located eight miles west of Big Spring, Texas, along Interstate 20. Once operating, it would produce an estimated 400,000 tons of carbon-free hydrogen each year (about 1,100 tons per day). Construction of the project is anticipated to begin in late 2026, with commercial operations commencing by December 2028. Nova Clean Energy… Continue reading HyFuels Green Lake project

Hydrogen City, Texas will be an integrated green hydrogen production, storage, and transport hub. It is centered around a hydrogen storage facility in the Piedras Pintas Salt Dome located in Duval County. Phase 1 of the Hydrogen City project is expected to produce 280,000 tons of green hydrogen per year, which will be used to… Continue reading Green Hydrogen International | Hydrogen City
HTEC and West Fraser Mills will receive CAD 10m from the Canadian government through a program seeking to facilitate adoption of innovative technologies. Located in Nanaimo, B.C., HTEC’s project will operate a renewable hydrogen production facility at the Harmac Pacific Pulp Mill, producing clean hydrogen by electrolysis. HTEC last year secured a CAD 217m investment… Continue reading HTEC West Fraser Mills
HTEC has partnered with Mitsui & Co. (Canada), Ltd., which is the wholly-owned Canadian subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., (Mitsui), to develop a 5 MW electrolytic hydrogen production project in British Columbia that will provide fuel to HTEC’s network of fueling stations and help decarbonize local natural gas use.
The project is a $9.2bn carbon negative renewable fuel complex at the Port of Greater Baton Rouge. The first phase of the multiphase, multiyear program is the 63,000-barrel-per-day Grön Fuels production facility. Fidelis originally expected to achieve a final investment decision in 2021, but as of April 2024 it is still working towards it as… Continue reading Fidelis New Energy | Grön Fuels Renewable Energy Complex
The project involves the signing of an MoU with the Innu Nation in Newfoundland and Labrador to assess the feasibility of producing green hydrogen at Gull Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Green Hydrogen International was planning on using Quebec’s offshore wind resources to establish a green ammonia proudction hub where 40,000 acres of storage grade salt had been secured. The hub would have had a 43 billion kg/year green ammonia output. GHI took down the Fleur-de-lys project from its website sometime between October and November 2023.
