Description
The Clear Fork Texas Project is a 250MW solar to liquified hydrogen plant, located near the town of Sylvester, Texas.
It is developed by Clean Energy Holdings (CEH).
CEH has assembled the Renewable Energy and Technology Alliance, which includes infrastructure firm Equix as its EPC contractor.
Bair Energy will serve as program management construction management.
ING will advise the alliance in securing project financing for the project.
The project, which was originally scheduled to enter commercial operations in 3Q24, is now expected to become operational in 2025.
The project is expected to produce a levelized average 33,000kg/day of liquefied green hydrogen. Daily capacity will be designed to ultimately increase to 132,000kg/day by 2028.
FID was originally targeted for April, 2023 and moved to September, 2023.
